Lysine really works. I have cold sores frequently, and a friend told me about Lysine many years ago. Since then, when I feel a cold sore coming on I take some Lysine--one pill seems to be enough for me--and the cold sore disappears. It's been very effective for me.

As a sufferer of cold sores since childhood, the best cure I have found is my own earwax! Sounds nasty but it speeds healing at every stage and applied at the tingle, it prevents completely!

No problem. I did before I learn all these tricks. It really helps and it isn’t just hype. When I was a kid, it seems like I always had one at least once per month. I played trumpet in band and my band teacher would say I had the horn players curse. By the time I reach high school I was using a few of these and taking vitamins and I really went down to maybe one or two a year. The real way to get rid of them is taking lysine regularly, if you do get one, it begins healing very fast and goes away in a day. AND Zilactin is better than anything. Thanks for commenting.
