Hubber. Writer. Author. Thinker. Coder. Futurist. In this article, I share my experience with Silcock's Base.
Hello and welcome! In this article, I will be explaining how you can use Silcock's Base to cure eczema if you have it. There aren't many cures out there, and most doctors say that if you have the condition you'll just have to deal with it. Is that really true?
What are the causes?
There are some reasons why you may have eczema:
- Changes in hormone levels in your body
- Stress or severe fatigue
- You may have inherited it from your relatives.
- Constant use of shower gels which contain harsh chemicals and irritate your skin.
- Wearing heavy, wooly clothes.
- There may be a lot of dust mites in your bed or carpets.
Eczema: A Nightmare
Whether you've had eczema or not, it is not a nice thing to have on your skin. Eczema is an itchy, cracked, dry and super red condition of the skin. The skin goes dry, flaky and very cracked. The author of this article (that's me!) has suffered from mild eczema in the past. I got mild eczema on one of my hands. It spread halfway up my hand. It was extremely itchy, sore and had a burning feeling. I went to the pharmacist. He suggested hydrocortisone cream which is a mild form of steroids. I used it as prescribed, for a week. The eczema disappeared! Unfortunately, when I stopped, the eczema came back again.
I became desperate. I tried everything but that would only flare the eczema up even worse. It got really bad. I didn't know what to do any more. That is, until someone I knew recommended Silcock's Base. That was a eureka moment.
Some 'possible' cures
Enough of my story. What about yours? Do you have eczema? It is most common in children and teenagers and can be a real problem to solve. It can spread onto the face and all over the body in a matter of weeks or months so if you have it, treat it fast. The question is how? As I mentioned earlier, doctors usually prescribe hydrocortisone creams and gels. These do work but when you stop using them, the eczema comes back. If you keep using these steroids, it will burn into the skin and can make some of your hormonal glands to malfunction. That's bad and is not healthy. They are OK when used over a short period of time but you cannot use them all your life, can you?
Some people diet for a few days and the eczema goes away. Others use home remedies which are effective enough but the best one out of all is Silcock's Base.
Silcock's Base: So, what is it?
Yeah, it may not sound like the most informative name and you are probably asking, what is it? Silcock's Base is an oil based, white-coloured cream which, from its name, is a base, so there aren't any extra chemicals added. It can be used as a substitute for soap as soap is likely to make eczema even worse than it already is. It's just the bare cream with two or three harmless chemicals that rid your hands of germs. It can also be used as a moisturiser for your skin and to make it soft. It is very, very (note the emphasis) cheap at just €4 for a huge tub of it. It can be bought in pharmacies very easily s your local pharmacy should stock it. So, how did it work for me?
I tried it for the very first time. At the time, my eczema was burning. As soon as I applied the product to my hands, my hands were soothed immediately. It was such a sigh of relief. The eczema cooled and lost its redness and dryness. I rinsed it off and applied it again. It was disappearing! No lie! After constant use over a few days, it disappeared completely!
That's my success story so why not try it for yourself? It'll be worth it.
